Things to do and experience…

Art and Crafts

We provide a variety of creative ‘stations’ where children can move freely between what is on offer. Some of these include, clay work, painting, charcoal, plaster carving, jewellery making, felting and nature weaving.

Our Natural World

Kindrogan is set in 11 acres of Perthshire forest with ample opportunities to explore and learn more about nature. Tree climbing, den building, river rambling and woodland crafts are just some of what is available. We feel it is essential for children to have time to be still and experience nature.

Food and Cooking

Our shared wholesome meals are prepared and cooked with the children on our camp fire. This punctuates the day and creates rhythm and also time to come together again as a group.

Our Philosophy

We aim to provide an holistic environment that creatively inspires the imagination, nourishes the physical body with warmth and sensitivity and ignites an eternal fire of life-long learning.

Our alternative model of education seeks to provide a transformative experience for children, whereby, the heads, hands and hearts of the whole child, can be nurtured and guided towards a positive outward expression of the individual’s true potential and purpose in life; as defined by the individual themselves.
